The browser smiles
Google loves hiding Easter eggs in its products – fun, hidden features that may remain unknown for years. Another such easter egg was discovered by the BleepingСomputer resource in the mobile version of the Chrome browser.
What will happen if you open 100 tabs and more in Google Chrome on your smartphone? Surely you are also interested
It turns out that if you open a hundred tabs on your smartphone at the same time, then a smiley will be displayed on the tab counter icon 🙂 instead of number 100.
The author of BleepingComputer jokes that an emoticon instead of a number may appear because the browser is happy to “eat” so much smartphone memory. However, as a more likely reason, he considers the developers’ simple reluctance to increase the size of the counter so that it can fit three digits instead of two.
Especially a lot of Google’s well-known Easter eggs incorporate search. For example, launching solitaire when entering solitaire in the search bar. Tic Tac Toe is also launched. Even in the search, you can “roll the dice” or a coin (roll dice, flip a coin). And on smartphones, Google Pixel 3 at one time found a secret drawing application.
