The Whoosh electric scooter rental team has announced a big addition to its fleet of bikes. Now Whoosh electric bikes have become available in St. Petersburg, and will soon appear in the Moscow region.
In St. Petersburg, the fleet of bicycles has 1,500 pieces, and in the Moscow region it will reach 2,500. Electric bicycles have already appeared in the Whoosh application.

Whoosh has already made an attempt to launch electric bikes in 2021, but according to the results of the test, 200 test bikes were removed to the Adler Olympic Park. Now, e-bike rentals have been given a second chance.
Whoosh users have access to new models of electric bikes. Instead of the “gas” button to start, it is enough to make a few revolutions with the pedals and the electric motor will turn on automatically. It also automatically turns off when speeding up to 25 km / h, but the user can go faster due to mechanics.
As noted in Whoosh, electric bikes are designed for longer distances than scooters – 7 km or more.
