You can find many other reviews using the link from the Videocardz resource, but we will take only a few diagrams from our colleagues with TechPowerUp since there is nothing special to analyze in detail.

As you can see, the increase was simply scanty, which was to be expected, given the meager increase in frequencies. The growth in power consumption is also minimal, and in general, it is completely unclear why to buy “updated” CPUs. On the one hand, the recommended prices for the XT models are fully consistent with those for the X models, but the fact is that the latter has already fallen in price for a long time. For example, for the Ryzen 5 3600X, Amazon is asking for $ 225, while the Ryzen 9 3900X can be bought for $ 423. As a result, most likely, in all markets, there will now be a similar situation when new CPUs are significantly more expensive than their predecessors with a difference in the performance of 1-3%.

Probably, the Ryzen 3000XT was due solely to marketing – it was necessary to respond to the release of new processors by Intel.
