Losing weight is a difficult task, especially in winter. During cold days the appetite increases and people eat a lot. These days most of the things consumed have a high-calorie content. How can one survive in winter with things like carrot pudding and butter-filled mustard greens, gulab jamun, samosas, chole bhature, and jalebi?

Of course, it is fun to eat these things on cold days, but the risk of obesity is also the same. In winter, when you succumb to sweet or spicy food, then increasing belly fat becomes a common problem. So now the question is what to eat to lose weight in winter so that the craving is also fulfilled.

According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), a 100-gram serving of beetroot contains just 43 calories and 0.2 grams of fat, and 10 grams of carbohydrates. Apart from reducing weight, beetroot has many health benefits.

There is a lot of carrot production in winter. It is slightly sweet in taste and also rich in nutrients. Carrots contain high fiber and low carbohydrates, due to which is a better option for those who want to lose weight.

To lose weight, you should increase the amount of fiber in your diet. For this, high-fiber foods like leafy vegetables can be included. Vegetables like spinach, mustard leaves, and fenugreek leaves can help you lose weight as they contain very few calories.

Raddish

Radish is a low-calorie vegetable that also provides a lot of fiber. Fiber means good digestion and less belly fat. Radish cleanses the stomach and improves digestion, as well as gives relief from problems like constipation and indigestion.

Guava

The amount of fiber in guava is high. About 12% of the daily requirement of fiber is found in it. Consume this juicy soft fruit in winter and get help in reducing weight. This low-calorie food helps improve digestion and metabolism.
