Concept video demonstrates possible model design
A conceptual video has appeared on YouTube, demonstrating the possible design of the folding flagship Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. Of course, the video has nothing to do with the official Galaxy Fold 2, but it’s worth evaluating the bold imagination of the authors, as well as the works on creating an interesting three-dimensional model.
With three screens and a PTZ camera. Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 shown on video
As you can see, the authors “attached” to the current Galaxy Fold 2 an additional display under the camera unit, duplicating information from the desktop informer, and also serving to display notifications. The main camera unit with a rotary mechanism also looks bold, but in this case, the user would get the maximum quality of photos and videos both when shooting landscapes, and when self-portraiting.
The authors of the video presented the laptop mode of operation of the smartphone when the screen is divided in half: the upper part is occupied, for example, by a text editor, and the lower part houses the QWERTY virtual keyboard.
Unlike the Lipetsk schoolboy who drew the non-existent flagship Xiaomi Otix Phone Pro on his knee, everything looks quite plausible in this conceptual Galaxy Fold 2, including the characteristics. The authors of the concept attribute to him the Snapdragon 865 platform, 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal flash memory, support for 5G, and a battery with a capacity of 7000 mAh. The main screen has a diagonal of 8 inches, an additional diagonal of 6.6 inches (given the decent frames of the additional screen in the original Galaxy Fold, there’s still much to stretch it out), and the third strip screen is 5 x 0.8 inches.
