Xiaomi has come up with a smartphone with a sub-screen camera rotating inside the case

The Chinese company Xiaomi has patented a very unusual smartphone equipped with a front camera behind the display. Information about the device is published on the website of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Patent illustrations give an idea of ​​the device. As you can see, there is a multi-module camera in the back of the case. One of its components can rotate inside the case.

Thus, depending on the activated mode, the rotary module is used either as a subscreen front camera or as one of the main camera blocks.

This design will allow for a completely bezel-less design with a display that takes up almost the entire front surface area of ​​the case. True, the patent illustrations show frames above and below the screen.
