Xiaomi is preparing a 5G mid-range smartphone Mi 10S: the announcement is expected in March
The Chinese company Xiaomi, according to network sources, will already announce an advanced smartphone, Mi 10S, using the Qualcomm hardware platform with support for 5G mobile networks by the end of this month.
It is said that the computing load will fall on the fresh Snapdragon 870 processor. It combines eight Kryo 585 cores with a clock speed of up to 3.2 GHz, an Adreno 650 graphics accelerator, and a Snapdragon X55 5G cellular modem.
Recently, references to the Xiaomi Mi 10S smartphone have appeared on several online retailers, including the large JD.com platform. And this speaks of the imminent official presentation of the device.
An image of the Mi 10S was found in the China Telecommunications Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA). Also, the device is seen in the popular GeekBench benchmark.
It is known that the smartphone carries 8 GB of RAM onboard. The operating system is Android 11.
Judging by the image on the TENAA website, the novelty’s main camera combines four blocks, but the resolution of the sensors has not yet been disclosed. It can be assumed that the equipment will include a Full HD + display.
