Xiaomi is preparing Redmi K11 – one of the cheapest smartphones on Snapdragon 888
Xiaomi Mi 11 became the first smartphone on the market based on the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The rest of the manufacturers will introduce similar devices only next year. It was reported today that Redmi, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, will unveil one of the most affordable Snapdragon 888 phones.
Previously, there were rumors on the web that Redmi would release at least one smartphone with the new flagship Qualcomm processor. The reputable Chinese tech blog Digital Chat Station reported today that the company is actively working on such a device. The upcoming smartphone is codenamed Haydn and will probably hit the market under the name Redmi K11. The device could be one of the cheapest Snapdragon 888 phones.
Unfortunately, this is all that is known about the device at the moment. It is worth noting that there are also rumors on the web about the preparation of the Redmi K40. This smartphone is expected to be unveiled shortly. It is likely that the company will present both novelties during one event.
