The Chinese company Xiaomi, as promised, has announced affordable smart TVs of the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition family: models with a diagonal of 32 and 43 inches have debuted.

The younger version has HD resolution (1366 × 768 pixels), the older one has Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels). The display occupies 93% and 95% of the panel area, respectively. The viewing angle in both cases reaches 178 degrees.

The new products use a quad-core Amlogic Cortex-A53 processor with a clock frequency of 1.5 GHz, equipped with a Mali-450 MP3 graphics accelerator. The volume of RAM is 1 GB, the capacity of the built-in flash drive is 8 GB.

The TVs carry adapters for wireless communication Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n (2.4 GHz) and Bluetooth 4.2, as well as an Ethernet network controller. There are three HDMI connectors, two USB 2.0 ports, and an S / PDIF interface.

Among other things, an audio system with 2x10W stereo speakers is mentioned. The Android operating system with a proprietary PatchWall add-on is used as a software platform.

The price of the younger panel is approximately $ 180, the older one is about $ 310.
