Xiaomi resumes testing MIUI 12 based on Android 11

One of the first devices for which testing was resumed was the Tucana, this is the codename for the Mi CC9 Pro, Mi Note 10, and Mi Note 10 Pro.

MIUI 12 update based on Android 11 numbered 20.10.14 is available for Chinese users of these devices. The update is rather big – the size is 2.9 GB.

In addition to the transition to Android 11, the update brings a new version of the proprietary Mi Browser with a new multi-window mode and a video player with adjustable playback speed.

Of course, despite the resumption of testing, it may take several more months before the stable MIUI 12 based on Android 11 is available for the Mi CC9 Pro, Mi Note 10, and Mi Note 10 Pro.

The flagships Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, as well as the Redmi K30 Pro, have already received a stable version of MIUI 12 based on Android 11.
