The more expensive Redmi Watch 3 has a smaller screen
The Chinese company Xiaomi has started selling its new smartwatches under the Redmi brand in the international market. The new product called Redmi Watch 3 Active is a very simple and affordable model with a large screen size.
For European users, Redmi Watch 3 Active is offered for 40 euros in black or silver body options. In China, a similar model has been on sale since May under the name Redmi Watch 3 Lite (Youth Edition). Note that depending on the region and retailer, the price may vary. MediaMarkt in Germany offers a novelty for just 40 euros, but Amazon in Germany and Spain already costs 49 euros.
Xiaomi started selling smart watches Redmi Watch 3 Active
The Redmi Watch 3 Active features a large 1.83-inch LCD display with a resolution of 240 x 280 pixels. Thus, the watch received a larger screen than the more expensive Redmi Watch 3 with a diagonal of 1.75 inches. At the same time, the Active version does not provide NFC and GPS modules.
The watch is water resistant (5ATM), supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Bluetooth voice calls, tracks heart rate and blood oxygen levels (SpO2), as well as sleep quality and menstrual cycle. More than 200 watch faces and 100 sports modes can be used on Redmi Watch 3 Lite, but there is no app store to use third party apps or watch faces. The battery with a capacity of 289 mAh provides 8-12 days of battery life.
