Xiaomi will present on February 25 RedmiBook Pro laptop with a metal case and a Tiger Lake-H35 chip
The Chinese company Xiaomi has published a series of teaser images that anticipate the new generation RedmiBook Pro laptop’s announcement: the laptop will debut before the end of this month – February 25.
It is known that the novelty will receive an eleventh generation Intel Core processor. In particular, it is said about using the Core i7 chip of the Tiger Lake-H35 family. The graphics subsystem will include the GeForce MX450 accelerator.
The laptop will be equipped with a 2K display. Through the HDMI interface, users will be able to display images on an external monitor or TV.
It is known that the laptop is made in a metal case. The storage subsystem uses a high-performance NVMe solid-state drive. Mentioned are a fingerprint scanner, asymmetrical USB Type-C port, a full-size backlit keyboard, and a webcam.
According to Strategy Analytics, 226.8 million notebook computers were sold worldwide last year. Amid the pandemic, laptop sales jumped by about a third.
