Because of videos about referendums in new regions of Russia

Google has deleted the YouTube channel of the news agency Ura.ru without the possibility of recovery, as reported by the Russian edition.

Google removed our YouTube channel with 85,000 subscribers for a video about referendums in new regions of Russia. We received the first strike on May 3 for last year’s video with a statement from the administration of the Kherson region about holding a referendum on joining the Russian Federation. The second is on May 12 for a video with a story about what will change in the LPR and DPR after the referendums on joining Russia. There were no hard shots or appeals, only statements by officials and facts. We received the third strike and automatic blocking today with the wording “violation of the rules”.

Mikhail Titov added that the editors of Ura.ru have created a new page on YouTube, where they will continue to upload videos. They are also uploaded to Rutube and VKontakte.

The publication adds that after the start of the special operation in Ukraine, the channels of the TASS, RBC, Moscow 24, and Spas agencies were censored. The channels of Dmitry Puchkov, Artemy Lebedev and other bloggers were blocked.
