During November, users purchased 1.35 million Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite consoles in the US. This is almost double the amount sold in October. This was largely due to Black Friday. It should be borne in mind that the sales of the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5 suffered from supply problems – many who wished were unable to purchase the consoles because they are out of stock.

For 2020, sales of Nintendo Switch amounted to 6.92 million consoles in the United States of America, which is already more than in all of 2019 (425 thousand systems).

According to Nintendo reports for the first half of 2020, Switch sales totaled 68.3 million since March 2017. At the same time, the company predicted that in the 2020 financial year, which ends March 31, 2021, 24 million systems will be sold worldwide.
