TrendForce analysts note an impressive increase in sales of Chromebooks, which is clearly associated with this situation. Their forecast is 11.6 million laptops with Chrome OS following the results of the current quarter. This will be a record for this segment, but the most impressive thing is that under such a condition, Chromebooks will occupy a quarter of the entire notebook market!
However, in general, according to the results of the year, the indicators will not be so impressive. Analysts predict that the Chromebook market will grow by 17% to 20 million units, which will correspond to 12.8% of the entire mobile PC market.
