EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 KINGPIN HYBRID graphics card features maintenance-free 360-mm heatsink
We recently reported on the outstanding overclocking performance of EVGA’s GeForce RTX 3090 KINGPIN HYBRID, which clocked up to 2.58GHz. This card was created in collaboration with the famous overclocker Vince Lucido aka K | ngp | n. And now you can finally see what it looks like fully loaded.
The KINGPIN HYBRID is the first graphics card from EVGA to feature a maintenance-free liquid cooling system with a huge 360mm radiator. At the moment, the manufacturer has not confirmed plans to release a version of this video card with a full traditional air CO. Meanwhile, liquid CO has a number of advantages. For example, it allows you to better cool the components of a video card and at the same time creates less noise compared to a conventional cooling system. The only difficulty when using such a solution will be finding enough free space in the computer case to accommodate such a monster.
It also became known that the GeForce RTX 3090 KINGPIN HYBRID is equipped with a rotatable digital display. It displays various information related to the temperature of the components of the video card, as well as the current frequency of the GPU.
Although this is not the first time we have heard of this engineering marvel, the manufacturer, unfortunately, still does not indicate either the date of going on sale or the factory settings of the model. However, the latter is not so important. As a rule, such solutions are designed for enthusiasts who are fond of overclocking, so the frequencies “out of the box” do not matter for them. Overclocking potential is more important. And just with him, video cards of the KINGPIN series have never had problems. As for the price, given the package bundle, the new product will definitely not be available to many.
