The VKontakte team announced the launch of the next stage of the global update of the social network application – a new profile.
According to the developers, the new design makes the personal profile the center for self-expression in the digital world and a full-fledged digital business card, and also simplifies the exchange of information.
Marina Krasnova, executive director of VKontakte, explained:
The focus is on individuality. In a new profile, you can easily demonstrate your interests and hobbies to subscribers, share your creativity. All changes are due to the request for high speed communication, the desire of users to quickly dive into the main thing, so the new design includes simplicity, ease of interfaces, as well as instant access to publishing and viewing a variety of content formats. A wide range of VKontakte tools, including unique digital vmoji avatars, will help each person create a comfortable virtual space for communication and self-expression in the virtual world, taking into account personal needs.
In the profile, you can quickly see the basic information about the user, easily go to contacts and a detailed description. The profile owner will be able to add mini-applications with additional services for subscribers.
For example, an illustrator can offer the audience a service for quickly ordering T-shirts with their own print directly from their profile. Managing your personal profile and editing your information has also become easier and more intuitive.
