A new batch of PlayStation 5 in M.Video was sold out in a matter of minutes
A few days ago, the M.Video retail chain announced that Russians will soon be able to purchase the PlayStation 5 in two versions – with and without an optical drive. This is good news, as in our region, as in other countries, there is an acute shortage of PS5. Sales of the console started yesterday, and surely not everyone had time to place an order. According to the official statement, the new batch of PS5 was sold out in a matter of minutes.
A fresh message on the M.Video account on the Vkontakte social network reads: “Friends, as we promised, a limited number of consoles have been released this afternoon. The demand for them is extremely high, so they were dismantled in a matter of minutes. Orders could be placed through the contact centre, in the mobile application and in stores. We urgently process those orders that you placed today: we filter out resellers, deal with emerging errors, form and send them to stores. “
M.Video also asked buyers who purchased the PlayStation 5 in the first and second waves but did not receive their console, to contact the company to clarify the circumstances. In 2021, the retail chain expects to receive more consoles to meet the demand among the population.
