Information about the new Xiaomi Mi TV, which is codenamed Croods, has appeared on the Web. The device has been spotted in the Google Play database, which indicates an imminent announcement of the device.

First of all, the upcoming Mi TV Croods will be powered by the MediaTek t31 SoC, which includes four ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.2GHz, as well as an ARM Mali G52 GPU clocked at 550MHz. The amount of RAM is 2 GB.

The diagonal of the screen is not reported, but it is indicated that it has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a density of 320 ppi. This suggests that the TV belongs to the budget category. The operating system is Android TV 10. Presumably, Xiaomi will add its own PatchWall shell to the operating system.

Of course, expect built-in Chromecast media player, Google Assistant, Google Play store and popular streaming apps found on modern Android TVs.
