Companies attribute abandonment of AMD and Nvidia GPUs
As you know, Apple has proclaimed the abandonment of Intel processors in its computers in favor of proprietary processors based on the Arm architecture.

According to the source, Apple also plans to develop graphics processors for its PCs, abandoning the prospect of using AMD Radeon GPUs.
Allegedly, the development of its own line of discrete graphics processors called Metal is already underway. The name of the GPU is unchanged borrowed from the graphic API of the same name. By the way, in addition to this API, the new GPUs will support the new one – Metal GPU Family Apple.
The transition from Intel CPU should happen in two years. There is no data on the date of transition to own GPUs.
