Apple released the Release Candidate version of iOS 15.5 after several weeks of beta. Therefore, the public release of the new iPhone update is approaching. The latest betas of iPadOS 15.5, watchOS 8.6, and tvOS 15.5 are also available
New features of iOS 15.5
Apple claims that the new iOS 15.5 brings improvements to Apple Cash, Apple Podcasts, and the HomeKit system for activating automations triggered upon arrival or departure from the home.
iOS 15.5 includes the following improvements and bug fixes:
- The wallet now allows Apple Cash customers to send and request money from their Apple Cash Card
- Apple Podcasts includes a new setting to limit the episodes stored on the iPhone and automatically delete the oldest ones
- Addresses an issue where location-triggered automation could fail
No particular news for watchOS 8.6 and tvOS 15.5
