ASUS Announces 15.6 “830g ZenScreen MB16ACV Portable Monitor
ASUS has announced the ZenScreen MB16ACV portable monitor: the novelty can be used as an auxiliary display for a laptop or desktop computer.
The device is made on an IPS matrix with a diagonal of 15.6 inches. The resolution is 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD format) at an aspect ratio of 16: 9. Viewing angles horizontally and vertically – up to 178 degrees.
The monitor is equipped with a built-in stand that allows you to position the panel in landscape or portrait orientation. TÜV-certified Flicker-free and Low Blue Light functions reduce eye strain during extended use.
The brightness was 250 cd / m 2 , the contrast – 800: 1 dynamic contrast – 100 000 000: 1. The novelty has a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a response time of 5 ms (GTG).
The device is equipped with a USB Type-C port for signal and power—a set of proprietary game tools, GamePlus, has been implemented.
The novelty weighs only 830 grams, including the stand. Dimensions are 357.9 x 224.8 x 10.5 mm. A special antibacterial coating on the frames and the back prevents 99.9% of microorganisms’ growth and reproduction.
