It is based on the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 version, which, together with the presented novelty, is now available in three versions: in fact, the original black, white and GUNDAM performance.

All three variants have the same technical characteristics. The only difference lies in the colour scheme of the cooling system. The White Edition was presented by the company quite recently, so it has not yet reached the sale, but it will appear in all markets.

The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 GUNDAM variant, in turn, will be sold only in Asia. Some retailers are already preparing to start implementing it. For example, on the Chinese online platform JD, this offer appeared at once from several sellers, but so far they do not have cards in their hands.

And yet, one of the users of the Chinese forum Chiphell was lucky enough to be one of the first to get access to the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 GUNDAM, so he shared several photos of the novelty. In addition to the non-standard design of the cooling system, the graphics accelerator is also supplied in another original packaging.

The owner notes that the card is huge. It is not only very plump and takes up three expansion slots in the PC case, but also long – 320 mm. The graphics accelerator is equipped with three 8-pin auxiliary power connectors and requires an 850W power supply.

The set of connectors on the card is non-standard: three DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1.

Compared to the original black Strix model, as well as the white version, the GUNDAM version has a different RGB lighting scheme, which adds elements familiar from the anime of the same name.

In addition, the logo of the Earth Federation Space Force, which appears in the Japanese animation universe, can be noted on the cooling system cover in several places.
