ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 gaming laptop with Ryzen 9 5900HS chip and GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics was estimated at 2,799 euros
ASUS has unveiled many new gaming laptops at CES 2021. One of them is the updated model of the ROG Zephyrus G15 gaming laptop (GA503). We have already reported about one of the versions based on AMD Ryzen 7 5800HS, but the Taiwanese manufacturer has also prepared a flagship model based on the eight-core Ryzen 9 5900HS.
According to the German store Cyberport, which already has a new product in the range, the laptop is equipped with 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory. It is noted that 8 GB of them are soldered directly to the motherboard itself, and the second 8 GB are installed as a separate module. Thus, the laptop’s RAM works in dual channel mode.
Curiously, the system also has an additional SO-DIMM slot, into which you can install another 8 GB module, thus obtaining 24 GB of RAM – the maximum amount of memory supported by a laptop. However, in this case, support for dual-channel mode is lost.
An additional special feature is its 15.6-inch WQHD-display (1440p) with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, the luminance of 300 cd / m 2 and the response 3 ms. The 1.9kg portable gaming system features a GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics accelerator with 8GB GDDR6 and a 1TB solid-state drive.
In this configuration, the ROG Zephyrus G15 is priced at $3381.05.
