Canon to release PowerShot ZOOM compact monocular camera in November for $ 300

Canon has today officially unveiled the unusual camera PowerShot ZOOM, to raise funds for the release of which has been organized in the last month. The novelty is made in the form of a monocular with an electronic viewfinder.

Inside the device is a 1/3-inch CMOS sensor (4.8 × 3.6 mm), from which the DIGIC 8 processor is used for data processing. The focal length range extends from 100 to 400 mm in 35 mm equivalent (4x optical zoom is implemented ).

The novelty allows you to take photos with a resolution of up to 4000 × 3000 pixels. Movies are recorded in Full HD with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and 24 or 30 frames per second.

The monocular is equipped with a stereo microphone, an optical image stabilization system, and a microSD card slot. Implemented support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless communication. AN asymmetrical USB Type-C port is used to recharge the battery.

The novelty will be available on the international market at the end of next month. The PowerShot ZOOM camera will be available for an estimated price of $ 300.
