So far, software updates have not helped
More and more users of the new second-generation Google Pixel Buds are complaining of weird sound issues.
Do not twist the head, do not go outside. Google Pixel Buds 2 Wireless Headphones Have Weird Sound Problems
A fairly large number of discussion threads on this issue are already available both on the official Google support forum and on the social news resource Reddit.
Users experience random sound interruptions, especially when moving and moving. Basically, the circuit is the same – the sound is suddenly interrupted for a second or two. In some, such interruptions are observed immediately on two headphones, in others – only on one when the user turns his head in this direction.
The most interesting thing is that the problems are more noticeable on the street than indoors, for example, when the user is walking or going for a run.
The problems started from the moment the headphones went on sale and the already released software updates did not help. There are complaints both about headphones with firmware version 225 and with the latest 295. Also, the problem is not solved by replacing the smartphone to which the headphones are connected.
Google already knows about the problem and is working on a solution to it. A correction is expected in the coming weeks. Although there is a possibility that it will not work out programmatically.
In some cases, it helps, at least temporarily, to disconnect the headphones and reboot the smartphone, then put the headphones in the charging case and hold the button open for 15 seconds until the indicator flashes white.
Google released second-generation Pixel Buds at the end of April 2020. They are offered for $ 180.
