During its existence, the Apple Watch has already sold over 100 million copies
Research company Avalon has published a detailed market analysis of Apple Watch sales, according to which 100 million of these smartwatches have been sold over time. It is worth noting that this is only 10 percent of the number of iPhones sold, of which more than a billion units have already been sold in history.
Recall that the first-generation Apple Watch was released back in 2015 and was deprived of many features that have now become the hallmark of the device. The watches can boast of immense popularity, even though their cost is higher than that of most competitors.
Apple Watch has a wide range of health-related functionality, which means more different device models were sold in 2020 than in the first three years after Apple’s market launch in 2015.
In the US, about 35% of iPhone users are reported to own an Apple Watch. As for the global market, it is said that the watch is currently the fourth most popular Apple product, behind the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. This is expected to change by 2022, and the Apple Watch will become the third most famous product of the company.
