Endless Legend’s Humankind 4X Global Strategy Release Date Announced
Along with the Endless Dungeon announcement, Amplitude has announced a release date for the upcoming 4X strategy game Humankind, in the style of Sid Meier’s Civilization series. Also, users who pre-ordered the game will be able to try out a new scenario within OpenDev from tomorrow.
At the same time, Amplitude Studios has released a new trailer for Humankind, dedicated to Lucy, a student in the clouds who travels through the eras and influences history in various ways.
From December 15 to December 28, players who pre-order Humankind on Steam will be able to play through OpenDev’s largest scenario ever, spanning four eras, from Neolithic to Early Modern. It spans over 100 moves, according to Amplitude Studios. Additionally, we clarify that OpenDev is a set of gameplay scenarios that a developer provides to users to collect community feedback in order to improve the quality of the project.
In each era, you can choose from 10 cultures, each with unique play attributes. You will have access to battles on land and sea, as well as diplomacy in a scenario with seven opponents controlled by artificial intelligence.
Humankind will be released on April 22, 2021, on PC.
