Gearbox Announces Second Season Pass For Borderlands 3. First Of Two DLCs Coming In November

In September, during the PAX Digital Showcase, Gearbox Software confirmed that they were not going to end active support for Borderlands 3. The studio today announced its second Season Pass, which will include two major DLCs. The first one will be released on November 10th.

The subscription will include the Designer’s Cut and Director’s Cut add-ons. The first will add a new skill tree for each hero and an Arms Race mode. The second will be released in the spring of 2021 and will be told about it closer to the release. Pricing has not been announced either.

The developers will share the details of Designer’s Cut in a series of broadcasts on Twitch :

  • October 20 @ 7:00 p.m. PDT – Story about the new Amara and FL4K skill trees (Ultimate Vault Hunters special);
  • October 22 @ 7:00 p.m. EDT – Explains Mose and Zane’s new skill trees (Ultimate Vault Hunters special)
  • October 29, 07:00 UTC – Details of the Arms Race and other new products (special episode of The Borderlands Show);
  • October 30, 07:00 UTC – Arms Race first gameplay (new episode of The Bordercast).
