Sony is far from the leader in the speed of releasing new versions of Android for its smartphones. Despite a fairly small assortment of models, the flagships receive updates quite quickly, but the rest of the smartphones do not.

For example, the Xperia 10 and 10 Plus models got Android 10 just now. These smartphones were supposed, according to the plans of Sony itself, to get a new OS at the beginning of the year, but in the end, they got in the middle.
