The Chinese tech blog Digital Chat Station became the source of information. He revealed interesting details about the device’s front camera. Not long ago, the smartphone showed up in images showing its front panel with an oval camera cutout. Digital Chat Station revealed what will be located in this cutout. It turns out that the 16-megapixel front camera will be complemented by a 3D ToF sensor, thanks to which the function of accurate face recognition will be implemented, approaching in its capabilities the Face ID system used in the iPhone.

In addition, it became known that the phone will receive a 4000 mAh battery, which is currently the unspoken standard for flagships. The advanced version of the Honor V40 will boast 50W wireless charging support. Sources also report that the Honor V40 will receive a display with 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, powerful stereo speakers and two linear vibration motors. The Honor V40 is slated to launch on January 22nd.
