Ryzen 5 5600X gets more and more attractive from test to test

It is known that the basic 6-core processors of the Ryzen line make a good AMD cashier: they have sufficient performance for a gaming computer and at the same time cost quite reasonable money. The new Ryzen 5 5600X takes price / performance to a higher level.

Intel is no longer the leader in single-threaded computing. AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 10% Faster than Core i9-10900K in CPU-Z Single-Thread Test

The processor has already performed well in the SiSoftware tests , and now one of the users of the famous American Reddit forum has published a screenshot of the performance in the CPU-Z benchmark. Then the post was deleted, but the data still spread across the web. And this time they were confirmed by the photo of the processor itself and its box!

In a single-threaded test, the 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X scored 643 points – it is 10% faster than the Core i9-10900K in the same test, 15% faster than the Core i7-10700K by 15% and 23.4% faster than the Ryzen 9 3900X. But the Core i9-10900K is capable of overclocking to 5.3 GHz!

Thus, AMD strengthens its position in single-threaded computing, in which Intel was the undisputed leader in the past – “blue” processors have fewer cores, but operate at a higher clock speed, which is important for single-threaded tests. In the Ryzen 5000, the frequency has increased, and this has borne fruit.

Of course, in the multi-threaded test the Ryzen 5 5600X does not look so bright, but still with its 4814 points, it is 12% faster than the Core i5-10600KF and 14% faster than the Ryzen 5 3600XT.
