Moreover, the phone received two rechargeable batteries, with one located at the top and the other at the bottom. If the battery were single and large, it could play the role of a structural element and would not allow the smartphone to bend too much, preventing the metal frame from breaking and protecting the glass from damage. But that’s not all: a large cutout is made in the metal frame on one side for contacts to which accessories are connected, and on the other there is an antenna line. These places greatly weaken the frame – but there is no inner one at all. That is why the smartphone breaks down quite easily when it bends. And this is very similar to a design miscalculation: After all, if the manufacturer had placed the contacts for accessories, say, on the bottom edge, the frame would have been much stronger. But this is not the case. Therefore, an exoskeleton in the form of a durable case Asus ROG Phone 5 is a must. And it’s good that it comes with the smartphone.
