Microsoft introduced Xbox controllers in new colors – white and light green Electric Volt and red and gray Daystrike Camo
Microsoft has unveiled two new colors for Xbox controllers – a white and light green Electric Volt and a red and gray Day strike Camo. This was reported on the company’s website. A distinctive feature of the new products is the use of recycled materials in the production.
The Electric Volt received a uniform light green paint on the front and white on the back. The top of the Day strike Camo, in turn, is painted in a red and black camouflage style with a black bottom panel. The first device can be purchased for 4,399 rubles, and the second for 4,999 rubles.
The new gamepads are the first Microsoft products to use recycled materials. They use various polymers from the recycling of car headlight coatings, CDs, and water bottles.
“We are confident that these materials will not cause problems, as tests have shown the same resilience and performance that our users are used to. We’re excited to take the next step towards our commitment to waste reduction and recycling while working on innovative gamepad designs, ” Microsoft said in a statement.
The controllers will be compatible with Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC. The start of sales of devices is scheduled for the end of May.
