It’s faster than Core i9-9900KF

An engineering sample of the Ryzen 7 5700G has been spotted on the web again. A couple of months ago, these APUs went on sale from some vendors, although their sources are unknown.

Most Powerful Desktop APU. Ryzen 7 5700G performed well in the test

In this case, the APU scored 614 and 6229 points in CPU-Z in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes, respectively, beating its predecessor by 13% and 8%. This is not much, but so far we are not talking about a serial sample.

However, even in this version, the novelty is significantly faster than the desktop Core i9-9900KF, which relatively recently was the fastest Intel processor in this segment. Do not forget that the Ryzen 7 5700G also has a fairly productive graphics core. True, just his tests on the Web are not really there yet, but it is known that this is the same Vega 8 as in the Ryzen 7 4700G, but with increased frequencies.

Recall that the Ryzen 7 5700G has eight cores with SMT support, operates at frequencies of 3.8-4.6 GHz, and is characterized by a TDP of 65 W. This APU will not have a direct competitor from Intel, since the Rocket Lake processors are equipped with only the base Xe GPUs.
