MSI prepares GS76 Stealth gaming laptop with Intel Comet Lake-H chips and GeForce RTX 30-series graphics
Unlike the junior 15-inch GS66 Stealth gaming laptop, MSI has not updated the older GS75 Stealth with fresh Intel Core Comet Lake-H series processors this year. The manufacturer has published a press release mentioning the new products that it has prepared for CES 2021. It indicates that the upcoming model of the 17-inch GS76 Stealth gaming laptop will receive the new GeForce RTX 30 series mobile graphics.
The company did not disclose the exact characteristics of the GS76 Stealth gaming laptop but has published several images of the novelty. When you look at them, you can see that MSI has redesigned the GS75 Stealth. For example, the new GS76 Stealth model has lost the gold-plated elements used in the GS75 Stealth (screen mounts, touchpad edge), which clearly looked superfluous for a device of this class. In addition, the GS76 Stealth has a numeric keypad that the GS75 Stealth lacks.
In the brief description of the new laptop, MSI indicates that it will be able to offer the latest Intel processors and NVIDIA mobile graphics. It is very likely that in the first case we are talking about 10th generation Comet Lake-H processors since such processors have already received the GS66 Stealth model, as well as mobile video cards GeForce RTX 3060, RTX 3070, and RTX 3080 on the fresh Ampere architecture. Recall that the announcement of the latter is also expected at CES 2021, as part of the NVIDIA event on January 12.
The MSI GS76 Stealth Gaming Laptop will also feature a 360Hz display. The equipment of the laptop will include a full-size SD card slot, as well as support for Thunderbolt 4 technology via USB Type-C with fast charging function.
