MSI releases GeForce RTX 3080 Sea Hawk X with hybrid cooling system
Micro-Star International (MSI) announced the release of the GeForce RTX 3080 Sea Hawk X 10G graphics card, equipped with a hybrid maintenance-free liquid cooling system. Recall that the manufacturer presented the graphics accelerators of this series back in January this year.

The water block of the updated MSI Sea Hawk LSS, which is installed on the video card itself, uses a large copper contact pad that covers the GPU and memory chips.
It also houses a new compact low-profile pump developed in collaboration with Asetek. It circulates the heated liquid to an external 240 × 120 mm radiator, cooled by two 120 mm TORX 4.0 fans.
Another fan provides additional cooling of the video card components. The cooling system supports Zero Frozr technology – without loading the graphics system, the fans are at rest. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not specify at what GPU temperature the fans stop.
MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Sea Hawk X graphics card received a factory overclocked GPU. The manufacturer claims a frequency of 1785 MHz for it, which is a 4.4 percent increase over the reference value of 1710 MHz. The graphics accelerator is built on a non-reference PCB equipped with two 8-pin connectors for additional power. The set of external interfaces includes three DisplayPort 1.4a and one HDMI 2.1.
