It is allowed to install Intel LGA 1200 processors, that is, representatives of the Comet Lake-S family at the moment. The system can use up to 128 GB of DDR4-2933 / 2666/2400/2133 RAM in the form of four modules. There are six standard SATA 3.0 ports for connecting drives, as well as two M.2 connectors with support for SSD modules with a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface.

For discrete graphics accelerators, there are two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots. Two more expansion cards can be installed in PCIe 3.0 x1 slots.

The Realtek RTL8125B 2.5GbE controller is responsible for connecting to the computer network, providing bandwidth up to 2.5 Gb / s. The audio subsystem uses the Realtek ALC1200 7.1 codec.

The interface panel contains a PS / 2 socket for a keyboard/mouse, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors for image output, two USB 2.0 ports, four USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, a socket for a network cable and a set of audio jacks.

There is currently no information on the estimated price of the MSI MAG B460 Torpedo motherboard.
