The development of the Radeon RX 6900 XT Gaming X Trio is still pending. The manufacturer has not yet fully decided on the design of the printed circuit board. Leading online broadcasts reported that the start of sales of the flagship of the Radeon series performed by MSI is expected in February, but only if the company resolves all remaining technical issues in January. If there are delays in the supply of components, the new product may not appear until March, since in mid-February China (where the MSI plant is located) will celebrate the New Year and all production will be stopped.

During the broadcast, the presenters also showed off the Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming X Trio.

It uses a completely non-reference board with a reinforced 14 + 4 processor and GDDR6 power subsystem, as well as a massive cooling system with three aluminium heatsink blocks, six heat pipes and three fans. As a result, the new product requires three free expansion slots in the PC case. The card is equipped with two 8-pin connectors to supply additional power.
