New HP Omen 17 gaming laptop scores in Geekbench with Intel Core i9-11900H processor
HP is preparing the next generation Omen 17 laptop for gamers, according to online sources. The laptop will be based on the Intel Tiger Lake hardware platform.
In particular, a laptop version with the designation OMEN 17-ck0xxx is seen in the popular Geekbench benchmark. It is said about using a Core i9-11900H processor, containing eight processing cores with a clock speed of up to 4.9 GHz. The base clock speed is indicated at around 2.5 GHz.
Supports DDR4-3200 RAM. The laptop we tested was equipped with 32 GB of RAM.
It is known that the equipment of the novelty will include a discrete graphics accelerator, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series. The screen size is 17.3 inches diagonally, but the resolution and refresh rate have not yet been indicated.
The operating system Windows 10 Pro is installed on the laptop. Observers believe that the official presentation of the laptop will take place in the current quarter.
