New Nintendo Switch gets 4K and NVIDIA DLSS support

The next version of the Nintendo Switch, which is rumored to be in development, will support NVIDIA DLSS technology alongside 4K resolution. This was told by an insider NateDrake, who previously disclosed information regarding Nintendo products.

NateDrake announced that the next version of the Nintendo Switch would also have an improved portable mode – most likely with a higher-resolution display. As for the device’s release date, the insider is confident that the console will be announced later this year. If the announcement is delayed until 2022, it will be announced within the next few months.

DLSS support for the upcoming Nintendo Switch was rumored back in the summer of 2020 when a Senior Firmware Engineer for Tegra solutions was posted on LinkedIn. According to its description, the company’s team works on next-generation graphics and artificial intelligence technologies for game consoles and artificial intelligence peripherals. And the new engineer will have to work on “solutions for using artificial intelligence in graphics technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS 2.0

Nevertheless, so far, all this is just speculation and unconfirmed information.
