We have just finished talking to you about the latest OnePlus flagships, comparing them and reviewing the top 8 Pro model, and we are still waiting for the “lite” OnePlus Z model.
Yet the time has already come to look to the future because the first rumours are circulating on the next device, 8T or 9 that it is.
Specifically, the company has just obtained certification on the TÜV Rheinland platforms for a 65W fast charge power supply.
A nice leap forward compared to that supported by OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, which already reaches 30W also wirelessly.
Obviously difficult to think that a prominent feature can be traced back to OnePlus Z, which was born as an economic option of the trio.
And so the possibilities are two: a possible OnePlus 8T, or directly the 9. The timing, and the need to differentiate the T model from the previous ones, but without being a new generation, make us lean more for the first option, but at the moment it is only about free thoughts.
To know something certain, in all probability we will have to wait a little longer.
