Pre-orders for GeForce RTX 3060 Ti started in China, which NVIDIA has not yet presented

On the Chinese online platform Taobao, several offers from various sellers have appeared at once, offering to pre-order the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card based on the GA104-200 GPU. We note right away that NVIDIA has not yet announced this model of the video card, however, numerous sources claim that the new product will appear on sale sometime in mid-November this year.

According to  VideoCardz, official news about the younger model of the Ampere series may appear shortly after the official start of sales of the GeForce RTX 3070 model, scheduled for October 29. Citing its sources, the resource indicates that the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will be a mid-budget model of NVIDIA Ampere graphics cards, which will cost less than $ 400. The sellers of the online platform Taobao offer offers ranging from 2049 to 2999 yuan ($ 305-446).

The younger model is credited with 4864 CUDA cores and 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory. Chinese sellers also point out that the performance of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is better than that of the GeForce RTX 2080. However, such claims should not come as a surprise, since NVIDIA is touting the older GeForce RTX 3070 as an option to outperform the Turing-based flagship GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.

It should also be noted that the images from the Chinese site Taobao do not show the actual appearance of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti video cards. Meanwhile, it is assumed that the outward reference sample and non-standard versions of the younger model will differ little from the GeForce RTX 3070.
