Radeon RX 6000 and Ryzen 5000 arrive at AMD’s updated Fortnite arenas

Back in September, AMD used Fortnite to showcase upcoming Radeon RX 6000 GPUs based on the RDNA 2 architecture. Now that the solutions have been officially unveiled, AMD has updated Fortnite cards to showcase both Ryzen 5000 processors and the latest Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards. A corresponding trailer was presented to this occasion.

AMD will also be streaming from today until November 13 to celebrate its October achievements. A disassembled version of the Radeon RX 6000 accelerator has appeared on the AMD Battle Arena card, thanks to which you can get acquainted with the GPU in as much detail as possible right in Fortnite.

AMD has also placed a huge Ryzen 5000 series processor on the island map. This island has both a regular skirmish mode and a puzzle. In puzzle mode, you have to solve problems with the ultimate goal of highlighting the processor.

Finally, there is now a kind of AMD city with an outstanding RDNA-2 skyscraper. This city illuminates the virtual night sky with bright, company-style neon colors. The map allows you to play in the “Infection” mode with friends or random people. All-new maps can be seen in the following trailer.

Showing products in Fortnite is undoubtedly an interesting choice for AMD. But the company attracts people not only with unusual cards for the popular action movie in the royal bat genre. AMD is also running a giveaway: People can comment on videos or live streams scheduled on the AMD site to enter the draw and receive one of 20 Ryzen 5000 processors, one of 20 Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards, or 200 AMD hoodies and merchandise (see full competition rules on a special page – in particular, it mentions that residents of Russia cannot take part in it). Those wishing to join the game can check out the AMD Fortnite page or use the Fortnite code 8651-9841-1639 to enter a selection of AMD arenas.
