Rumor: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X will get 12 cores, and Ryzen 7 5800X – 8 cores

According to Shura, the Ryzen 9 5900X got 12 cores, while the Ryzen 7 5800X got 8 cores. He does not provide any data confirming this, but the leak does not contradict the rumors, which are full on the Web. So, it is expected that the number of cores in comparison with the CPU of the Ryzen 3000 line will not change, but the frequencies will grow, the energy efficiency and the duration of operation at an increased frequency will increase – due to the optimization of the architecture.

Recall that the official announcement of AMD Ryzen processors on the Zen 3 architecture will take place on October 8 , and 20 days later, on October 28, the company’s new video cards, the Radeon RX 6000 , will debut .
