Ryzen 4000 mobile processors (Renoir) began to appear as part of all-in-one PCs

AMD Ryzen 4000 Renoir series processors are in demand not only on laptops. They also hit the AIO desktop segment (monoblocks). The first such solutions based on them from HP and Lenovo were discovered by Internet users.

Ryzen 4000 APUs are built using a 7nm process technology based on the AMD Zen 2 microarchitecture. Manufacturers of ready-made solutions were especially interested in the U-series of these processors, they have a low TDP value of 15 watts. Energy-efficient chips are less demanding on powerful cooling systems, which, apparently, makes them an ideal choice for all-in-one PCs.

A Thai user under the nickname GodpingZXZ announced the start of sales in Thailand of the HP All-in-One 24-dp0203d and HP All-in-One 24-dp0202d. Both are prepared to offer 23.8-inch screens c Full HD resolution and a brightness of 250 cd / m 2 . Each model is equipped with two 2W speakers and offers Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2 support. Both systems are built using Ryzen 5 4500U processors with six cores and a base frequency of 2.3 GHz. The manufacturer claims that with automatic overclocking, it can go up to 4 GHz.

Despite the presence of two SO-DIMM memory slots in the system, HP installs only one RAM module with a suitable amount for the customer. For example, the HP All-in-One 24-dp0203d can be equipped with 8GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, a 256GB M.2 NVMe SSD, and a 1TB hard drive. The manufacturer estimates this assembly at about $ 587 (including taxes).

Monoblock HP All-in-One 24-dp0202d, in turn, is ready to offer 4 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, M.2 SATA SSD 128 GB, and a hard drive with a capacity of 1 TB. This PC manufacturer has estimated at about $ 530 dollars.

Users of the social network Weibo also reported on the monoblock Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO 520C. As is the case with the models of HP AIO systems, the new product from the Chinese manufacturer offers a 23.8-inch IPS-display with Full HD resolution. The difference between competing solutions is that Lenovo uses the more powerful Ryzen 5 4600U processor as the basis for its system.

The Ryzen 5 4600U and Ryzen 5 4500U have six cores each. However, the older model, unlike the younger one, offers support for SMT technology. Ironically, the presence of the latter in the Ryzen 5 4600U lowers its base clock speed by 200 MHz compared to the younger model. However, its value in automatic overclocking mode is the same for both processors and amounts to 4 GHz.

Lenovo has allocated 16GB of dual-channel memory to run the Ryzen 5 4600U. Unfortunately, the user who published information about this candy bar did not indicate its type. In addition, a 512 GB SSD is mentioned in the assembly, but other data about the system are still unknown. About the price and receipt of IdeaCentre AIO 520C on sale, too, nothing has been reported.
