Ryzen 5000 Delivers Record AMD Processor Sales in German Store in November

The shortage of AMD and NVIDIA video cards, as well as AMD Ryzen 5000 central processors this fall, prompted many online stores to openly share statistics on the number of copies received for sale. The November data from a German online store makes it clear that not so few Ryzen 5000 processors were shipped.

The Ingeborg enthusiast, who collects such statistics on a regular basis, reported on Reddit that the German online store MindFactory managed to sell about 5,500 copies of AMD Ryzen 5000 family processors in November before stocks were depleted. If we compare this number with the results of the first month of the presence on the market of Ryzen 3000 processors, then it will turn out to be almost two times lower. But on the other hand, in the case of the Ryzen 5000, there are thousands of copies, and not hundreds or dozens, as is the case with the latest AMD and NVIDIA video cards.

In fact, in November, MindFactory was able to sell a record number of AMD processors since 2015. In a consecutive comparison, it increased by more than one and a half times. Sales of Intel processors also increased in November, but not as noticeably. The alignment of forces in the range of MindFactory products was as follows: 84% for AMD and 16% for Intel – both in volume and in value.

The six-core AMD Ryzen 5 5600X generally burst into the fourth line of the popularity of a particular store, 3020 copies were sold in November. This is more than half of the total number of Vermeer processors sold per month. Ryzen 5 3600XT broke into the second position, Ryzen 7 3800X gave way to it. Closes the top ten bestsellers 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X, which sold 1,500 copies. The eight-core Ryzen 7 5800X is content with 13th place and 1170 sold copies. The first place is still confidently taken by the Ryzen 5 3600.

In terms of revenue, all three processors of the Vermeer family entered the top ten most popular in the same sequence, and the Ryzen 9 5900X, due to the rather high price, lags behind the leading Ryzen 5 5600X very slightly. In this rating, the flagship 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X got 19th place, although in physical terms it did not make it into the top twenty at all.
