The source of the leak is one of the users of the Chinese forum Baidu, who unfortunately did not provide any confirmation in favor of the fact that the screenshot shows the performance results of the Ryzen 9 5900X based on the new AMD Zen 3 microarchitecture. However, as indicated by VideoCardz, this hints at the previously unseen marking OPN-number of the chip 100-000000061-08.

Previously, the resource Igor’s Lab reported the existence of an AMD processor with the marking number 100-000000061-06_49 / 37_Y, which, according to the initial information of the source, belonged to the 16-core model of the new generation of Vermeer processor. However, later it turned out that in fact, we are talking about a 12-core chip. The VideoCardz resource suggests that the 08 chip variant may be a more recent engineering sample of the same processor, but with higher clock speed.

The screenshot posted says the Ryzen 9 5900X has 12 cores and 24 threads. Unfortunately, information about the operating frequency range in the leak is not indicated. However, the image also displays its CPU-Z single-core and multi-core benchmarks, which are compared to the Ryzen 7 3700X based on the Zen 2 architecture.

In the single-core test, the alleged Ryzen 9 5900X scored 653 points, in the multi-core test – almost 9482 points. For comparison, the Ryzen 7 3700 scored 511 points and 5433 points, respectively. According to the resource Guru3D, the Ryzen 9 3900X model, in turn, shows results at the level of 528 and 8397 points in single-core and multi-core CPU-Z tests. As for the result of a direct competitor from Intel, the current flagship 10-core and 20-thread model, the Core i9-10900K, scores 588 points in the single-core and 7159 points in the multi-core tests in the same test.
