As promised back in December 2019, MLB The Show 21 will be released not only on PlayStation consoles but also on other devices. The full list of target platforms for the game looks like this: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S.

The release of MLB The Show 21 will take place on April 20 this year. It is noteworthy that for the owners of the project on PS4 or Xbox One, there is no upgrade to versions for new generation consoles (even paid).

MLB The Show 21 pre-orders kicked off on all target platforms:

  • PS4 -$56.75;
  • PS5 – $65.99 ;
  • Xbox One – $ 60 ;
  • Xbox Series X and the S – $ 70.

The Standard Edition on the listed systems includes 5,000 game coins, and the PS5, Xbox Series X, and S versions also include 10 The Show Packs. The gold bundle is a bonus for pre-order.

One of the main features of MLB The Show 21 will be cross-platform multiplayer and the transfer of saved data between PlayStation and Xbox consoles of both generations.

In addition, MLB The Show 21 promises “even more dynamic, detailed and intense game situations,” as well as updates to the Road to the Show (story campaign), Franchise, and March to October modes.
