The first stage of the launched launch vehicle has been used four times in the past. This time she was also successfully returned to Earth. Approximately nine minutes after the start, the first stage smoothly descended onto a floating platform called Of Couse I Still Love You, which was in the Atlantic Ocean. Returnable first stages of rockets help SpaceX lower launch costs.

It is worth mentioning that SpaceX was planning to launch another Falcon 9 rocket today with Starlink satellites on board. The second rocket launch was to take place from the Kennedy Space Center site four hours after the first launch. However, later it was decided to postpone this launch to 05:14 US East Coast time (13:14 Moscow time) on February 5.

Recall that within the Starlink project framework, a network of a large number of small satellites is being created in the near-earth orbit of the Earth, the mass of which does not exceed 500 kg. The Starlink network will be used to provide Internet access. Besides, SpaceX has entered into a contract with the US military. The Starlink network will be tested for the possibility of using it for the needs of the military.
